Frequently Asked Questions
What paving services does C. Brooks Paving offer?

Do you serve areas outside of Bulverde, TX?
Yes, we serve a wide region across Central Texas, South Texas, and the Hill Country. Our service area includes communities from Kerrville and Fredericksburg in the Hill Country to Pleasanton, Carrizo Springs, and La Grange in South and Central Texas. If you’re not sure whether we cover your location, check our service areas page or give us a call at (210) 326-5707.
How do I know which paving surface is right for my property?
The best surface depends on your use, traffic volume, budget, and soil conditions. Chip seal is cost-effective and durable for rural driveways and ranch roads. Hot-mix asphalt is better suited for high-traffic commercial or industrial areas. Sealcoating extends the life of existing asphalt. We assess every job before making a recommendation, and we put our recommendation in writing so you can compare your options clearly.
Do you work with HOAs and subdivision developers?
Yes. We’ve completed subdivision paving, HOA road resurfacing, and multi-lot development work across Central and South Texas. We provide detailed written estimates and work with project managers, developers, and HOA boards throughout the planning and construction process. Learn more on our subdivision paving page.
How long does asphalt paving last in Texas?
Properly installed asphalt lasts 15 to 20 years in most Texas conditions with routine maintenance. The Texas heat and soil movement can accelerate wear without a proper base, which is why our process emphasizes sub-base preparation before any asphalt is laid. Regular sealcoating every 2 to 3 years can significantly extend your surface’s lifespan.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Every estimate from C. Brooks Paving is free and provided in writing before any work begins. There are no hidden fees, no surprise charges, and no obligation. We assess the job, outline the scope, and present a written quote so you know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. C. Brooks Paving is fully licensed, bonded, and insured to operate across Texas. You’re protected throughout every phase of the job. If you’d like documentation for a commercial or municipal project, we’re happy to provide it.
